Life and Death, Light and Dark: these themes have been explored countless times throughout history, and perhaps not more so than in music and art. Come and hear the Festival Artists explore these juxtapositions through exuberant and playful Mozart, the joyous celebration of Franck’s Cello sonata, the mysticism and elusiveness of Gesualdo’s Madrigals, and the unsettling irony and cheerfulness of Shostakovich’s Piano Quintet.
